The Red Skelton Show delighted viewers for over two decades with its irreverent wit, and sketch-based humor. The show began in the early 1950s, then finally came to a close in 1971 after providing America with one of its longest running comedy shows. Skelton delighted in playing the clown throughout, and drew on a host of celebrity guests and regular cast members to keep the laughs coming thick and fast. This festive show catches Red and the gang celebrating Christmas in their own inimitable style. Two episodes are included: Cop & The Anthem features Red adopting the persona of a homeless guy attempting to find somewhere to spend Christmas. While Freddie & The Yuletide Doll sees Red exploring the meaning of Christmas, and celebrating the holidays.
