Gamera, the benevolent giant turtle is back in this film, produced by the same group responsible for 1995`s GAMERA: GUARDIAN OF THE UNIVERSE. ATTACK OF LEGION begins as Sapporo is hit by a freak meteor shower that brings with it a race of giant destructive insects that immediately begin to lay waste to the Japanese countryside. Unfortunately, just as Gamera steps in to help, the bugs create a huge explosion that that wipes out everything in its radius, including Gamera. Unable to stop the insects with military force alone, Japan`s hopes lie in their ability resurrect Gamera before it`s too late.
